We’re expecting a little baking assistant in late July and I must say we are so excited! I am currently heading into my second trimester which means that my energy has started coming back. The past 2 months were not easy on me and as much as I wanted to bring my readers new recipes, my appetite was totally nutso. I told my mother-in-law the other day that I would be happy if I never have to see another saltine cracker for the rest of my life. I could pretty much only tolerate white carbs and salty foods, and didn’t even get around to cooking for the hubby. So now that my appetite and love of veggies are slowly coming back I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things. Now that a little one is coming we are also trying to find a more permanent residence. There are some serious life changes coming in the next six months! So bare with me through this as I’m trying to find a balance between my baker life and my new mommy life. Now I just have to figure out what direction I want to go in with this blog. Do I stay strictly food? Do I make this into a mommy food blog? Who knows, I guess only time will tell…
On top of the new baby excitement, we attended the Cutler Bay Farmer’s Market last Sunday and plan to be there this Sunday the 29th. If you are in the Miami area, you should stop by and say “Hello!”.
